Vision Quest to Bangladesh

We have planned numerous outreach projects. The Vision Quest program is one of these. Working with RTN Syed Abu Sayeed of the Rotary Club of Metropolitan Khulna we will bring one VQ kit and a refill kit to make over 400 pairs of glasses. The Vision Quest program is something we, lay people can do, simply and inexpensively and allows us to work with the club in Khulna. Syed was the team leader of the GSE team that visited us this fall from Bangladesh.

We have a go for departure Saturday at 4:00, yowser. We'll land in Dhaka Monday. Look for a picture from the airport.

Our final team meeting was last night - we leave in five days! My awesome teammate Jim Bailey showed us the film "Gum for my Boat" and now I'm totally amped and stoked to meet Bangladeshi surfers at Cox's Bazar!
